Think about your approved/proposed systems, is it worth the three or more years of learnings you get from the university? Describe how you arrive with this proposal.
Is it worthy? I really think about this question a lot since Dr. Gamboa asked this to us. Just like what he said, it is a simple project. But then with the time given to us to finish the project, it is okay.
When we - C.S. and I.T. students - face the real world of I.T professions and when we compare this project to the learnings we get from the university, I can say that it is not that worthy enough. Thanks to our instructor for making us realize this things. We all know that he is doing this for the sake of making us more knowledgeable about what we shoul be and what we should be doing.
When our first instructor for this subject - System Analysis and Design - told us about the project we are going to make, we have really no idea where and what company to go. Then we went to the companies outside the school, around Obrero, and we also went to the mall, and other places but then we all failed. Fortunately, one of our group mate said to go the station where her father is working. We went there and we are welcomed by them, interviewed them and got the project.

Reflection
Five chapters had been already discussed. Now, it's time to make a reflection about what I have understand or learned.
The first chapter as what I have remembered is about what System Analysis & Design is. System Analysis is analyzing the system. SAD is connected in SE-Software Engineering. What is the difference in this two? Which has the big job in developing a system?- these questions is our first assignment when Ma'am Tammy is our instructor. With the help of our discussion in our SE subject, I answer those two questions. In System development Life -Cycle, SAD and SE have their own part. SAD is in the first part of development,SE is also in there, but then SAD has the big job. For the reason that, in this part analysis happens.As the development goes by, the job of SAD has gotten smaller.
Yesterday, the four chapter had been discussed. In these chapters, the topic that retained in my memory is the topic that will help us in our project-in designing a system,it had been discussed how to know if our project proposal is feasible. Is our project really worth it. It is also discussed how to gather information. I also learned that the value of a system analyst is not how good he/she in making a model but on how good he/she analyzes the information gathered.
Honestly, not all of the topics that had been discussed retains or fully understand. So the reflection that I made compared to the topics discussed is really short. Reading ahead and ask queastions for the topics that you dont understand, I think this can really help to understand what the reporter discussed. Just like what I heard from my classmate-----self-study is really useful.
